Andee Bott LCSW, MSW
As a clinician, I love helping people become resilient and find ways to use their pain as fuel and energy to create the life they want for themselves and their families. I love to help people succeed. Everybody has the capacity to live a rich and meaningful life and with the tools used in therapy this becomes a reality. I work with individuals, couples, families and facilitate groups. My approach to therapy is a strengths-based, client-centered, eclectic approach of evidence-based therapy treatments including: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), EMDR, Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT), and solution-focused therapy. If desired, I enjoy and can work in a Christian approach.
I am a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist trained from the Grief Recovery Institute. This method helps grievers deal with the pain of any kind of loss including death, divorce, pet loss, change of job, loss of trust, lost of safety, loss of control of one’s body and more. This includes working with parents whose children have experienced loss.
Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy skiing, camping, boating, biking, reading, eating Crumble cookies, drinking Diet Dr. Pepper all while relaxing in a comfy chair with a good book. I have been married for 19 years, have four boys, and one Goldendoodle.
